

Instead I decided that I would opt to keep Sophos but not have it active on my system. Therefore, I do not want Sophos to run on my PC - I would uninstall the program however this would require me to reinstall and uninstall Sophos on a weekly basis. I don't know to what extent this is actually true but the general rule of thumb seems to be that having multiple AV programs can have a negative effect - the Sophos app its self claimed this. I already have an existing Antivirus, which I have paid for and trust to do the job well.
